Una investigación reciente sugiere que las personas con rasgos psicopáticos tienen gustos musicales muy particulares e incluso ciertas canciones favoritas.
Los psicópatas han sido estudiados desde diferentes puntos de vistas, pero una reciente investigación se centró en un rasgo que no había sido tomado en cuenta con anterioridad: la música que prefieren estas personas.
Una investigación realizada por expertos de la Universidad de Nueva York, sugiere que los psicópatas tienden a preferir ciertas canciones, y para dar con ellas hicieron un experimentos con 200 voluntarios.
Los participantes llenaron un cuestionario que sirvió para catalogarlos dentro de la escala de psicopatía de Levenson, la cual es utilizada para reconocer a quienes muestran rasgos de este tipo de personalidad, además escucharon 260 canciones para luego escoger sus favoritas.
Los voluntarios que obtuvieron un puntaje elevado en esta prueba de medición de personalidad psicópata, tendían a elegir los mismos temas musicales destacando las canciones “No Diggity”, de Backstreet Boys, y “Lose Yourself” de Eminem con mayor cantidad de coincidencias, publica Vix.
En cuanto a géneros musicales, estas personas preferían el hip hop y R&B. Los autores del estudio no revelaron el nombre completo de la lista de temas, ya que desean utilizar esa información en otras investigaciones similares.
Es imposible diagnosticar a alguien como psicópata con solo ver su colección musical, pero tampoco se puede descartar como parte de los rasgos que lo identifican.
