Por años se ha intentado saber si es posible viajar en el tiempo o si es que entre nosotros tenemos personas que nos visitan desde el futuro. Uno de los que asegura haber sido un viajero en el tiempo es Paul Amadeus Dienach, un profesor de alemán que en 1921 sufrió encefalitis lo que lo llevó a estar en coma por un año en un hospital en Ginebra.
Cuando salió del coma, aseguró que en todo momento estuvo despierto pero en otro tiempo y lugar. Según escribió luego en un diario, su consciencia viajó al cuerpo de otro hombre, específicamente al de Andrew Northman en el año 3906.
Fue tratado como un loco por lo que se mudó a Grecia, donde se desempeñó como profesor de alemán. Ahí conoció al estudiante George Papahatzis a quien le regaló su diario antes de irse a Italia, según dice el sitio Rumbos.
Tras su muerte, Papahatzis tradujo los escritos de Dienach. Al principio pensó que era una novela, aunque una muy rara. Pero a medida que avanzaba se fue dando cuenta de que lo que estaba traduciendo era un diario. Finalmente le tomó 14 años traducir los escritos de su profesor, los que hoy se conocen como “Crónicas del futuro” y que según algunos, es un libro prohibido y muy difícil de encontrar.
Papahatzis era masón y algunos aseguran que el libro de Dienach es considerado un texto secreto y venerado por la masonería. Una de las profecías que se señalan en el libro es que en el año 2309, como resultado de las desavenencias entre varios países, se producirá la Tercera Guerra Mundial.
