Y es que un grupo de científicos de la Universidad de Texas, Estados Unidos, comprobó que una tajada podría tener efectos en la erección masculina, actuando igual que el viagra, pero de una forma natural y sin efectos secundarios. Además, podría aumentar la libido.
El especialista en sexualidad de la Universidad A&M en Texas, Bhimu Patil, se pronunció al respecto y señaló que el consumo de esta fruta “relaja y dilata los vasos sanguíneos, mejorando el flujo de sangre al pene, dando más fuerza a las erecciones”.
El médico psiquiatra y sexólogo, Walter Ghedin, aclaró que la sandía tiene altos contenidos de citrulina, que es “un aminoácido no esencial, que en su metabolismo se convierte en arginina y que es un vasodilatador” fundamental para la erección masculina, según indica el sitio Infobae.
Dicho componente, conocido también como el aminoácido del amor, se encuentra principalmente en la corteza de la sandía, por lo que su consumo tiende a dificultarse.
